Joseph (and Nicola) insisted I had a ‘schedule’ so that I wouldn’t miss any of the sights of NYC, so I was up early, having slept really well, and as Joseph and Nicola left for work, I was out myself to have a look round !
Well, I’ve been well and truly seeing the sights of New York…
From the surreal experience of being in ‘Irish Bars’ on the first night, listening to the sounds of Oasis…and viewing adverts for Boddingtons beer !! A real home from home…
My first days sightseeing entailed a walk through Central park,http://www.centralparknyc.org/ viewing Belvedere Castle, around Jackie Onassis reservoir , up to Columbia University, then two massive churches on Riverside http://www.theriversidechurchny.org/, and Columbia University http://www.columbia.edu/ , up to Ulysses S Grants tomb http://www.nps.gov/gegr/index.htm(who ?), and back along the Hudson River, and along Broadway…in the rain !
Phew, and that was just the start, and not just the start, when Joseph got home…he even checked m photos to make sure I’d been where I said !
Would I survive …read on !
