Resting in the Dunes..

 

I had decided to stay here at the foot of the Pila dunes for a couple of days…reading,relaxing and eating – same as normal really. The sun was up bright and early both days, and as I looked out of Wally’s windows,this is what I saw , a very relaxing sight each morning..ready for Pain au chocolat and coffee , just the job.

So, not a great deal to report, although both days did go out for a quick spin on the bikes, further along the coast on the first day, getting differing sights of the great dunes ,the second day I rode into Arcochan itself, and along the beautiful bay ,

and of course being at the foot of a 250 ‘ high sand dune, up and over several times ,finally watching the sun set across the Ocean (lots and lots of pictures !)

 

 

 

 

So, off further South tomorrow, to end up somewhere near Biarritz, for the weekend, and before heading over into Spain.
